Mediterranean estate — Malibu
High on a Malibu ridgeline with the Pacific on the horizon, this Mediterranean stone estate is one of the most ambitious projects in the iPhotographyHomes portfolio. Hand-laid stone masonry, arched steel windows, reclaimed-wood beams, and a tiled floating staircase carry an Old-World craft through every room, while walls of glass frame the ocean and the mountains beyond. A chef's kitchen opens to a stone loggia built for long dinners under string lights, and the grounds climb the hillside in terraced gardens and courtyards. Coverage spanned daylight, golden hour, and twilight — the sunset frames of the glowing facade are the ones that define the set. Designed and built by Amit Apel Design; the deliverable was a complete portfolio set for the architect.
